Traveling breaks a lot of stereotypes. No, the South is not all lazy peeps sipping mint juleps, and women acting sooooooo coy. The East is not all hard, industrious types, and the West isn't all beach babes and surfing dudes. The North is not covered with snow for 90% of the year. What you learn is that everybody is everywhere. Fat people, skinny people, smart people, ignorant people, happy people, sad people, homely people, attractive people...they all litter the earth S.N.E.W, it doesn't matter.
You will also find out that there is a LOT of south (foodwise, and that annoying fake familiarity of y'all) and much less north (peeps who are more straight forward and go less for the charm) but we are just one cool country trying to not get blasted off the face of the earth. SO see it while you can!
