6.The Stepford Wives
I love this film although it is an older one when women didn't have as many rights as they do now. The setting is an idyllic town where strong, interesting, creative women are transformed into husband-pleasuring machines thanks to an ex-Disneyland employee. The men are icky. The women are asked to speak a list of words into a recorder. Portraits are made and rooms are copied. It's scarier than hell. Men might think this is the ultimate in the way women should be, and that is even more frightening.
