Homeland security...what are you willing to lose to get it. How afraid are you?
All of this rigamarole won't protect you. It is simply a political response.
Write to your governor, senators, reps, and the prez...tell them that you aren't that afraid. Save your rights. Save your country while you can.
Otherwise you may be wishing for the big one, one day.

I was out working in my garden yesterday. Cottonwood puffs were saturating the wind. It was glorious, bright and sunny.
BUT workmen are installing a new pipeline not too far from my house and they create massive noise. I couldn't hear Ryan Adams and I was blasting the music.
So I stopped and walked down. I was curious how they ran the pipeline under the river.
The man I spoke with was a southerner, Bluegrass State, is my guess. The companies get contacts for $$$$$ then bring in nonunion workers so they reap more profits. A union operating engineer here in the upper Midwest gets about $40 an hour, more if he or she can run multiple construction vehicles.
Bad enough, right?
Why do you think Bush wants to open the Mexican border (as if it isn't open already)? Cheap labor. Unions will be broken, fat cats get fatter, and you dear citizen did nothing to stop it. Your ass is next.

Chicago is loud and smart, crude and glamarama, brash and refined. In some ways it's casually elegant, and in others, unabashedly goofy. Just like me.

Vanilla Sky really doesn't work. Just because you try to use magical realism and time shifting, if the story isn't tight, it is a flop. He is suppose to be 150 yrs old and he used his "first imagery" like Bob Dylan's album cover from the 60s. Was the movie setting 2110? Nope.
